Mark Kampmann was born in Santa Rosa, California, his family moved to Capay when he was in 4th grade. He is a 20-year U. S. Navy Veteran and has lived all over the United States and done multiple tours overseas. Mark worked as a Construction Manager and Safety Manager while in the Navy which transitioned him into the civilian sector, he retired from the Navy in 2017. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master’s degree in Education. Mark spent two years as the Facility Manager for CSU Chico prior to accepting the position with Capay Farms in 2019.

Mark and his wife Christine have three children, Tucker, Savannah, and Jackson. They live in Capay on their Family Farm, and enjoy raising livestock, spending time with their kids and their many activities such as rodeo, baseball, football, volleyball, FFA and 4-H.
